Terms and Conditions

These terms cover your use of fiznote.co ("fiznote"), operated by Nafizul Hoque Khan. By creating an account or using fiznote, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What fiznote is

fiznote lets you upload an audio or video recording and get an AI generated transcript and summary back, including Bangla and English mixed in the same conversation. It's a notetaking tool, not a legal recording, compliance, or consent-verification service.

2. Who can use fiznote

You must be at least 16 years old to use fiznote. By using it, you confirm that you are.

3. Your account

fiznote uses Google sign-in only. You're responsible for whatever happens under your Google account once it's connected to fiznote, so keep your Google account secure.

4. You're responsible for what you upload

This is the most important section here, so we're not going to bury it: fiznote does not verify that you have the right to record or upload a conversation. Recording-consent laws are different in every country, and in some places you legally need every participant's permission before recording a call or meeting at all.

By uploading a recording to fiznote, you confirm that:

• You made the recording lawfully, or otherwise have the right to upload it
• You have whatever consent from other participants is required under the law that applies to you
• You won't upload anything illegal, or anything you don't have the rights to

fiznote is not responsible for how you obtained a recording, and you're solely responsible if uploading one breaks a law that applies to you.

5. Your content stays yours

You own whatever you upload to fiznote. By uploading it, you give fiznote permission to process it — send it to our AI provider, store it, and generate a transcript and summary from it — purely so we can provide the service back to you. We don't claim ownership of your recordings or use them for anything beyond that.

6. Free credits and usage limits

fiznote currently runs on a free credit system with a monthly limit. We can change how credits work, how many you get, or introduce paid plans in the future — if we do, we'll make that clear in the product before it affects you. Sending an optional bKash "support" tip doesn't change your account's credits or limits — it's a voluntary gift, not a purchase.

7. AI-generated content can be wrong

Transcripts, summaries, and Ask fiznote's answers are generated by AI and can contain mistakes — a misheard word, a wrong name, a missed switch between Bangla and English. Don't treat anything fiznote generates as an official or legally reliable record of what was said. Always check the original recording for anything that matters.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload anything illegal, or anything you don't have the right to upload
• Try to break, overload, or abuse fiznote's systems or credit limits
• Use Ask fiznote to try to extract harmful, illegal, or abusive content
• Try to access another user's account or data

We can suspend or block accounts that break these rules, the same way we already handle abuse today.

9. No guarantees

fiznote is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it working, but we don't guarantee it'll always be available, error-free, or perfectly accurate. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses that come from using fiznote, or from it being unavailable or wrong.

10. Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use fiznote after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
